Painting

I started out as a figurative Surrealist painter, creating my own worlds in oils. But I felt I wanted to express more, so l entered the world of digital painting. This allowed me to add so many more layers to my work, and really delve into the images. Recently l have been drawn to abstraction which has allowed me to tap into another aspect of my psyche. The face of the girl comes from Renaissance artist Bronzino but l've made additions to her, the face in sky is pen drawing l did and the background is mostly from photos l took at Sydney Botanic Gardens.
